Bungarribee Park
Bungarribee Park is a 200-hectare western Sydney park featuring wide-open scenic space, two sealed walking and cycling tracks (the Heart Crossing loop and the 4-6 km Bungarribee Trail through wetlands and native grasslands), and one of Sydney's largest off-leash dog areas — the Warrigal Dog Run. The park also includes a large family playground with climbing tower, slides, a flying fox, swings and water play, 18 shaded picnic shelters (8 free first-come first-served, 10 bookable for events), 26 free electric barbecues and 7 designated coal barbecue stations.

Tips
Bungarribee Park has one of Sydney's largest off-leash dog areas — the Warrigal Dog Run. Dogs MUST remain on-leash before entering and immediately after leaving the fenced off-leash enclosure. Within the run, no more than 4 dogs per person; ensure vaccinations are current, clean up after your dog using the bins and bags provided, and never leave dogs unsupervised. Dogs in season or declared dangerous breeds are prohibited from the entire park. The main carparks fill quickly on sunny weekends and school holidays; arrive before 10am for a spot. Wetland tracks can be muddy after rain, so bring a towel for dirty paws. Electric barbecues can still be used during Total Fire Ban (portable coal/gas BBQs are only allowed at the 7 designated coal stations and prohibited on Total Fire Ban days). The Bungarribee Play Tower is currently closed for maintenance — use the main playground with water play instead, and check the Greater Sydney Parklands website for re-opening dates.
