Declared 24-hour off-leash by Northern Beaches Council (signposted on-site, check notices before visiting), the reserve covers a huge open grassed space plus a shared concrete path loop and southern lagoon frontage where dogs are also permitted. Water taps, waste bins and bench seats are strategically placed around the perimeter, with a dedicated off-leash zone map at the main Griffin Road and Carrington Parade entry points. Note: dogs are strictly NOT permitted on Curl Curl Beach itself; only the reserve, southern lagoon access and shared path inside the fenced off-leash area are fair game.
