Kyeemagh Dog Beach is a spacious fully off-leash bay beach on the Botany Bay side of Lady Robinsons Beach in the St George area, running parallel to the Cooks River mouth, the airport runways and the Brighton-Le-Sands to Kyeemagh coastal strip. The sand is pale golden and firm underfoot even at high tide, with a gradual shallow entry into Botany Bay that means even very small puppies and senior arthritic dogs can wade safely for a long way out before the water reaches their chests. The beach sits almost directly under the main takeoff flight path for Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport's north-south runways, so low-flying passenger jets roar overhead every few minutes on northerly wind days – the plane spotting is one of the biggest draws of the reserve for kids and adults alike, though it does mean sound-sensitive dogs may need extra patience or desensitisation before visiting.

Bayside Council formally designates the Kyeemagh off-leash section as the stretch of Lady Robinsons Beach located in front of the Kyeemagh sand dunes, broadly between the public access points around gate 60 and gate 61 as the signs read, with the on-leash family swimming sections of Lady Robinsons Beach continuing north towards Brighton-Le-Sands baths and south towards Dolls Point. The off-leash precinct is completely unfenced and opens directly out into Botany Bay, so strong recall is recommended near the tide line, though there is a natural dune ridge behind the sand that acts as a visual back boundary for most ball games. The council installed upgraded infrastructure in the 2024-25 financial year, including additional waste and poo bag dispensers, a cold water dog wash tap at the northern entry, and wider pathway access for wheelchair users and strollers coming down from the car park.

Amenities within or immediately adjacent to the off-leash precinct include a three-hour timed public car park accessed from the southbound lanes only of The Grand Parade (approaching from Brighton-le-Sands), public toilet blocks with cold showers at the northern and southern ends of the dog section, shaded picnic tables and gas electric barbecues on the grassed reserve behind the dunes, a council drinking water tap for humans and dogs near the main beach access path, and multiple rubbish bins spaced every 40 metres along the dune walkway. A paved shared cycle and pedestrian path runs continuously along the top of the dunes for the full length of Lady Robinsons Beach from Brighton-Le-Sands all the way down to Sandringham Bay, so you can easily extend a visit by adding a flat two or three kilometre on-leash cycle path walk before or after the off-leash beach play session.
