A legendary South Coast spot where golden sand, basalt column geology and a full dog-friendly experience come together. Bombo Beach itself features a designated off-leash zone in the middle of the sand (see Kiama Council's official off-leash map below) and dramatic views south towards Kiama Blowhole Point.

Directly linked via a short headland walk from the northern end of the beach is **Bombo Beach Headland Dog Park** — the Illawarra region's only off-leash dog agility park, with pole weave, tyre jump and open grassed agility equipment on a sprawling unfenced coastal headland. Wander 5–10 minutes along the beach access track or the grassy path behind the sand dunes and you can combine a beach swim, a headland agility play session and a basalt column coastal walk all in one trip — it feels like three dog parks in one visit.

Headland dogs must remain **on-leash when travelling to and from the off-leash area**, and are strictly prohibited from Spring Creek Lagoon and the rock platform at all times. Bring your own water for the headland agility zone (no tap on-site), and keep dogs well back from the unfenced cliff edges on windy days.
